About Me

With over 40 years’ experience in nursing and managing care homes specialising in dementia and palliative care, I bring warmth, compassion, and professionalism to my role as a funeral celebrant.

Throughout my nursing career, I supported families with empathy and sensitivity through some of life’s most difficult moments. In 2014, I was honoured to receive the Good Nurse Award at the Great British Care Awards (North West) in recognition of my person-centred care, leadership, and dedication to nursing. I also hold national accreditations in palliative care, including the Gold Standards Framework and the Six Steps to Success in End of Life Care Award, achieved at St Ann’s Hospice in Manchester. These experiences enhanced my understanding of bereavement and strengthened my skills and ability to offer emotional and spiritual support to families and carers.

Now, as a qualified celebrant with a Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy, I use my experience and understanding to create ceremonies that are meaningful, personal, and comforting. Each service is carefully crafted to reflect the life, values, and personality of the person being remembered.

I believe every life has a unique story worth telling, and I consider it a privilege to help families honour their loved ones with warmth, respect, and authenticity.
